In 1996 while designing websites for myself and a few friends I realized to my surprise my fun little hobby had become a part-time job. This early company was named QwikWeb. The idea behind QwikWeb was to build websites much faster than the four week turn around that seemed standard at the time.
By 2004 it became obvious that I needed to either dedicate all of my time to web design or stop.
With years of business experience, including several years with two advertising agencies, I was confident I could run a great little specialist agency. Renaming the company OnTheWebNow, my associates and I decided to concentrate only on designing, hosting, and maintaining websites. Our clients would be exclusively small businesses like ourselves.
Today we continue with the same philosophy we had in the beginning: Work hard, work smart, be humble.
It's been 15 years and approximately 40,000+ hours of web designing. What is really amazing...in this industry, one can still learn something new each day.
